5th Birthday Party

On Tuesday, the 15th we met Ron near his work and had lunch at Red Lobster with Papa.  Later that night, we celebrated with a rainbow cake....

5th Birthday Party

Last Saturday, Ella had her 5th birthday party with all her friends from ballet and some from school.  She picked a rainbow theme and I made bright cupcakes and a candy bar for sundaes.  I posted pictures of the cupcakes and candy bar on INSPIRE ME PHOTOGRPAHY.   The kids played outside while Ron BBQ'd and then made sundaes and had cupcakes.  Ella was high on sugar but shortly after the last freind left the house became eerily quiet....  and I found her passed out in the living room.  She fell asleep in the middle of playing with her new toys :)

Early March

Spring recital is coming up in May and the girls are practicing their routine....

Duck Pond Park

We found a local park with a duck pond and playground.  We met up with Kiyomi and Keanu to feed bread to the ducks.  So reminiscent of my childhood...

Bubbles

Ella and Ali are two peas in a pod.  They go everywhere together, and I believe Ali believes herself to be Ella's sister rather than the family dog....  They spend hours outside now that the weather is nice and bubbles are a big hit... for both of them....

Inspire Me Photography

We took a drive out to the Hill Country one Saturday afternoon and found an RV park with some abandoned building...

We love to have 'coffee' at Starabucks.  I get my caffeine fix and Ella gets her 'coffee'... the kids hot chocolate.  She's totally my girl... she loves to chit chat.... here she's telling me all about her day at school....

Valentine's Day, our gift to her.  And going through all her loot from school...

Her ballet costume for the recital came in.  They are dancing a ballet number to Cinderella's "Every Girl Can Be A Princess".  Here she is with her friend, Ellen....

We went to Costco and I found this giant bubble orb.  It's so ridiculous and so cheap, I had to buy it for her.  She waited so patiently with Ali while Ron blew it up.  She loves it... I fear she might break her neck....  her and Ron had so much fun though.

I'm sorry.... did I say patiently????

I had the flu the last week in February and Ella was a good little "mommy", letting me rest while she watched movies.  She even said she'd be the mommy and take care of me.   We watched movies in the living room on a blow up bed and had a "sleep over"...

Her favorite movie is "Sound of Music" and she sings and dances throughout it.  If given the chance, she'd watch it over and over and over....
