Papa was out for Ella's birthday and her Great-Grandpa got her a series of Ella Bella Ballerina books which she loves and has us read her often.
Papa also got her a pink cowgirl hat while he was here....
And took her to the park.....
She loves her sundresses and is quick to pose for me...
We've been busy with friends and photos with the bluebonnets. There hasn't been a lot of rain this year, very little in fact, that the bluebonnets appeared quick and were gone within a week or so. I was able to do a lot of sessions and Ella had fun dressing up and hanging out with her girlfriends...
We also headed to the Japanese Tea Gardens with the girls...
On Tuesday, the 15th we met Ron near his work and had lunch at Red Lobster with Papa. Later that night, we celebrated with a rainbow cake....
Last Saturday, Ella had her 5th birthday party with all her friends from ballet and some from school. She picked a rainbow theme and I made bright cupcakes and a candy bar for sundaes. I posted pictures of the cupcakes and candy bar on
INSPIRE ME PHOTOGRPAHY. The kids played outside while Ron BBQ'd and then made sundaes and had cupcakes. Ella was high on sugar but shortly after the last freind left the house became eerily quiet.... and I found her passed out in the living room. She fell asleep in the middle of playing with her new toys :)
Spring recital is coming up in May and the girls are practicing their routine....
Enjoying the spring weather that comes early in San Antonio... and her first Shamrock Shake :)
We found a local park with a duck pond and playground. We met up with Kiyomi and Keanu to feed bread to the ducks. So reminiscent of my childhood...
