Potty Training - Take # 86

So, we've been pretty much trying potty training every few weeks with little or no success. I end up having to let it be and then try again a few weeks later. Ella is seriously resisting. She refuses, "NO!", sometimes cries, and often sulks. It's frustrating for us both and I am trying to be patient. We have potty stickers, but today we started getting stickers for just sitting on the potty. It's worked so far, and though she's still resisting, I can calm her down enough so that we count to ten while sitting on the potty... 2 of the 3 times, she's peed. The last time I praised her: "That's good trying, Ella" and gave her a potty sticker anyway.

Today we made a sticker poster and decorated her potty chair. "It's like a princess, Mommy!". Maybe this will help....

Here is Ella with her new pj's:

I hear you on the PTing...I feel like I give it a half attempt every few weeks and it fizzes out. Nolan's cousin (born 2/06) is completely potty trained. I talked it up to him when we were there but apparently the kid doesn't give into peer pressure.

I started bribing Nolan with treats (a few chocolate chips) now every time he goes he expects (demands) a treat. Wish I didn't start that (especially since my pregnant appetite finished all the chips ages ago!!!)
